Winter Position Summaries & Starting Wages (2024/2025)
Returning employee wages will be reviewed and pay changes will be based on years of experience and performance.
All full-time seasonal positions, which require at least five shifts per week, have a starting wage of $15.00/hr., excluding bartenders.
Food/Beverage-$9.75 plus tips (from shared tip pool)
Help others warm up with something to eat or drink at one of two locations: Mallory’s Café or Bennett’s Coffee Shop. Job duties include food preparation in accordance with food safety guidelines; food sales; keeping work area clean and organized; clean tables and throw away trash; take trash to dumpster; stock condiment table; smile and interact with customers. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Bartender-$7.25/hr. plus tips
If you love creating an excellent guest experience and creating classic and innovative drinks this is for you. Job duties include prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for guests; cook pizza; serve pizzas and other food items; check customers’ identification; interact with customers; follow opening and closing procedures; keep bar stocked; keep work area clean and organized. Must have or be willing to obtain I-PACT certification. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Office/Ticket Sales-$11.50/hr.
Our front office staff helps people get started on a great day of riding the slopes. Job duties include sale of lift and snow tube tickets, rental equipment, and retail; answering LOTS of questions from beginners and first timers; answering phone and email inquiries; making group reservations. Must be guest service oriented, courteous, detail oriented, well spoken, good listener, work well under pressure, and a desire to create magical moments for our guests. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Rental Department-$10.50/hr.
Whether you have years of experience skiing or snowboarding, or just learning, rental is a great way to learn more about these sports. Job duties include interpreting customer provided data to properly size and fit boots, skis, snowboards and helmets for customers; adjusting ski and snowboard bindings; repairing equipment; maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Chair Lift Operation-$12.00/hr.
If you love being outdoors, this is for you. Job duties include assisting customers on and off chair lifts safely; be knowledgeable of all operational, emergency, and equipment procedures related to lift operations; maintaining a clean and safe work environment by shoveling, raking and removing snow from load and unload areas; performing safety inspections of load/unload areas; be willing to familiarize self with Seven Oaks skiable terrain in order to accurately converse with guests and answer questions: assist with necessary projects such as fencing and sign replacement; welcoming and positive demeanor while greeting guests loading chairs; check guest tickets. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Rope/Handle Tow Operation-$10.50/hr.
If you love being outdoors, this is for you. Job duties include assisting customers on and off rope/handle tows as needed; be knowledgeable of all operational, emergency, and equipment procedures related to rope tow operations; maintaining a clean and safe work environment by shoveling, raking and removing snow from load and unload areas; performing safety inspections of load/unload areas; be willing to familiarize self with Seven Oaks skiable terrain in order to accurately converse with guests and answer questions: assist with necessary projects such as fencing and sign replacement; welcoming and positive demeanor while greeting guests; check guest tickets. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Snow Tube Park-$11.00/hr.
If you enjoy the cold and listening to screams of excitement this job is for you. Job duties include assisting customers and their tubes on and off the cable lift; advising customers when they can start their ride down; manually and verbally helping customers exit the area at the completion of their ride and keeping the lanes of snow straight and free of snow chunks- shoveling and raking snow is required; understands and operates in compliance with department training and safety requirements; test lanes for quality control; proactively anticipates changing conditions and communicates in a timely manner with leadership; maintains tubing lanes and guest areas especially during changing conditions; sets up and tears down area daily; provides a high level of service to guests. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ski and Snowboard Instructor-$11-$13/hr. (based on experience level)
Seven Oaks offers ski and snowboard lessons to everyone, and we need your help. This position’s job duties include leading lessons; demonstrating skills; watching beginners perform and giving verbal corrective recommendations as required; giving words of encouragement; assisting customers on and off tows and lifts; teaching private lessons; maintaining a safe learning atmosphere for customers; be a positive and professional ambassador of Seven Oaks in general, to all guests. Strong communication skills are required to be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers. Previous ski and snowboard abilities required. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Snowmaking-$13.00-$15.00/hr.
We can’t always count on mother nature so we improvise. This position’s job duties include setting up and placement of snow making equipment; operating snow making equipment for creating manufactured snow from water resources; monitoring machines; adjusting the water and/or air flow to snow guns; follow operating practices and safety procedures as instructed; removing equipment when finished; helping with odd jobs (maintenance or other). Must be able to work overnights and be at least 18 years of age.
Parking Attendant-$11.00/hr.
We have been growing every year and that means more vehicles in and out. This position’s job duties will include greeting and welcoming each guest/vehicle with a smile as they arrive, providing guidance on parking, traffic direction and parking availability. Must be enthusiastic and willing to perform cheerfully outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Summer Position Summaries & Starting Wages (2024)
River Float Staff – $12/hr.
Love being outside? Our river staff transports equipment to and from the river and assists customers in getting onto and off of the river. Must be able to carry about 50 lbs. and work weekends. Must be able to work weekends and be at least 16 years of age.
Bus Drivers– $22/hr.
Have any experience driving a bus? We are looking for CDL drivers to help transport river floaters to and from the river. Type B CDL with passenger endorsement and air brakes required. Most hours will be in July and August on Saturdays and Sundays 9 am to 1 pm. Must be able to work weekends be at least 18 years of age.
Paintball– $12/hr.
Looking for something fun and exciting? Paintball Operators help facilitate safe game play in our paintball field. Good communication skills and prior paintball knowledge helpful. Must be able to work weekends and be at least 18 years of age.
Event Cleaning & Set-up– $12/hr.
Do you have a passion for cleaning? Events cleaning and set-up staff ensure our venue is clean and ready for our guests the day of their event. Job duties include performing general cleaning, including dusting, cleaning glass, cleaning restrooms, cleaning the kitchen and appliances, removing trash, vacuuming and mopping; properly storing cleaning chemicals and equipment; reading room layouts; moving chairs and tables according to the room layout; placing linens, table runners, and napkins on tables; help with other projects as needed. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Event Busser– $12/hr.
If you like helping an event run smoothly and keeping the facility looking clean this is for you. Job duties include clearing and cleaning tables; disposing of garbage and bottles/cans in proper areas; empty trash as needed and take to the dumpster; help fill appetizer and/or dessert stations as needed; cleaning of dishes; helping tear down at the end of the event; helping other areas as needed. Must be able to work evenings and weekends and be at least 16 years of age.
